Yes for some people. Milk contains all kinds of hormones that can cause acne…drink organic milk to avoid this and you don’t have to sacrifice

god, i fucking hate it when assholes like imnotemo888 with perfect, clear skin make fun of us, acne sufferers.

i just want to take a knife, and cut off your face an wear it, leatherface style, and then kill you with a chainsaw.

I dont know if you read that out of a book or website but the winter is worse for acne because of the cold air hitting the face and freezing tempertures altering the oil production. Dry air means the skin will produce even more oil on your face and clogging more pores. Summer is better, because SMALL amounts of sun exposure everyday (10 mins) actually help.

I completely avoid dairy products and have NO ACNE at all.
I get calcium through other sources.

I dont know where you heard that because I break out worse in the winter. Winter air is dryer and the other seasons

actualt the cold wind can help to dry out the over proudcing sebum galnds,, hot weather increases sweat production and subsequent infectio

the most impotant thing you can do to control your acne is to wash your face early in the morning and late at night or after you work out or have gym !!EVERY DAY!!

  16. DancetotheMusicxxx on March 1st, 2009

Cold climates can also trigger acne breakouts

  17. DancetotheMusicxxx on March 1st, 2009

No its not true. Dairy can trigger an acne breakout in people who are allergic to it but it is not the underlying cause of acne. Acne is caused mainly by genetics and hormonal imbalances.

Any product that contains milk is a diary product. This includes ice cream, frozen yogurt, milk, cottage cheese, cheese, etc.

Thats not true. You need acne medication if you suffer from moderate or severe acne. I have moderate acne and Ive had acne for thirteen years. I never skip washing my face and I moisturize everyday and its gotten me no where. Everyone has different skin. What works for one person doesnt necessarily work for another. Maybe for you you can just wash and moisturize but people with sensitive skin and acne prone skin cannot

Dairy is the worse thing to consume if you have any acne. I got a great book called “The Clear Skin Diet” and it goes into tons of detail about how foods cause acne (certain ones). Hope that will help some :)
