Laser Treatment For Acne Scar
Acne treatments will reduce the acne, but due to the injuries which it produced, scars are formed on the skin which would be available on epidermal layer of the skin. The epidermal layer is actually made up of dead cells. So if we remove the outer dead skin layer, the scars are removed.
Acne scar laser treatment can be done to clear out the dead cells on the skin epidermal layer. By this method, we can effectively remove all the scars present in the epidermal layer. This loss of dead skin layer is compensated by the growth of fresh and new skin layer which would be scar free. These treatments are available in all the saloons, but if it is done with a proper dermatalogist, it would be safe and a better choice. The dermatalogist will access the scars nature well and will suggest the laser radiation intensity accordingly.
Treatment Procedure:
Laser rays would be precisely made to fall on scars and affected areas. It burns the dead cells making up scars. This produces mild recoverable injuries to the skin cellS. Skin then produces new layer of cells in about a month which would replace the small holes caused by removal of scars.
Precautions:
The new skin should be protected from dust, pollution and sun. This can prevent further occurence of acne. Dust can block pores and can trigger acne. Sun produces harmful ultra violet rays which can cause sun burns which would be painful. Application of a moisturizer with SPF of 30+ would be recommended post scar treatment. They can keep the cells moisturized and can oxygenate the skin.
