Heard so much about this product I decided to give it a try. I normally use the local pharmacy brands (CVS, Walgreen’s) astringent and/or pads, esp. during summer months when my skin gets sweaty and oily. While this is nicely scented and a pretty color, my complexion is a disaster. It took less than 2 days use of this product and I developed those hard, painful, under-the-skin bumps that eventually turn into huge blemishes. I look like I’m 15 years old again with bad skin. I never had bad acne, just occasional breakouts, but this stuff is a nightmare. I’ll keep it, but only for cleaning cuts and small wounds. Oh, it does take the itch out of insect bites similar to rubbing alcohol and witch hazel, so maybe it will get used up over the summer months.

This is exactly what I expected it to be as far as an acid treament goes. My skin is fairly tough so the more “tingle” the better. They have an older product (same brand) that was a lot more potentency that I assume has been discontinued due to its high concentration. But this one is fine too. Just average though. I didn’t get any SUPER results or anything but i could tell it works
